BALTIMORE MAYOR FULFILLS HER BET WITH MAYOR SLY JAMES. By Mass Appeal News
BALTIMORE — Kansas City mayor Sly James and Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake made a bet over the American League Championship Series between the Royals and Orioles, a matchup that concluded with a 4-game sweep by KC. So, to satisfy her obligation, Rawlings-Blake performed a parody of Lorde’s hit single “Royals” with students from the Baltimore School for the Arts. The performance was recorded and posted on YouTube (watch the video below).
Thx again @BaltSchoolArts. They're just too awesome not to feature one more time! A bit of extra footage & photos: http://t.co/eTlLwqdamt

Rawlings-Blake even wore a royal blue dress to commemorate the occasion. “I’m no Grammy Award winning musician, but hopefully someday, one of these kids will be!” said Rawlings-Blake through a post on YouTube.
“This video was performed and produced entirely by the Baltimore School for the Arts (with some backup vocals from yours truly). BSA, thank you for helping me fulfill my bet with Kansas City Mayor Sly James.”
